Parents play an important role in the education of their children and have a responsibility to support the efforts of Khalsa Community School staff in maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment for all students. Parents fulfill their responsibility when they:

• Show an interest in their child`s school work and communicate regularly with the school.
• Help their child to be neat, clean, and wear the proper Khalsa Community School uniform.
• Ensure that their child attends school regularly, on time and promptly reports their child`s absence or late arrivals.
• Become familiar with the code of conduct and school rules and assist school staff in dealing with disciplinary issues at home
• Encourage their child to show manners, respect, civility and responsibility.
